The Mission
In an age of thermoplastics and injection molding, I believe there is still a place for custom leather, made by hand and one at a time.
My goal is the same with every holster I make; it needs to be safe, secure, comfortable and, yes, beautiful.
About Me
I've been an instructor in the Army, a police officer, gang officer and training officer and provided protection for some people you've probably heard of.
None of that makes me cool (just ask my kids), but it does mean I understand the complexities of carrying a handgun openly and in uniform, and concealed dressed as a civilian.
Your handgun is the equivalent of a parachute; it needs to be safe and secure 99.99% of the time, but it needs to be accessible quickly and without impediment when you need it. The holster is, in essence, your ripcord-and it has to keep your weapon secure while still allowing this access.

Every holster and belt I build is made for a specific person, to their specific requirements; I don't have 'in-stock' models, though I do have a number of patterns we can use as a starting point.
Because of this, ordering will require an email (lawrence@zenleatherholsters.com) or phone call ( 708.638.8281) to discuss what you need and detailed specifics like:
- Gun Model
- Right/Left Hand
- Carry Position/Cant/Ride Height
- Colors
- Belt Width
- Other Preferences
I realize this isn't as convenient as pushing a button to make a purchase, but it's the only way I can be sure I build your holster to your exact specifications. In the end, I think you'll find it's worth the effort.
